Week of Prayer 2025 - Day 7

To end our week of missional prayer, we want to present ourselves before the Lord to be part of spreading the gospel, to be an active participant in missions either by prayer, donating or going. We want to make the commitment, first and foremost to the Lord, but also to all those serving in the mission fields, local and abroad.

In chapter 6 of the book of Isaiah, we a moment where God asks who shall He send, and the prophet Isaiah responds and says "Here I am, send me". We see in 1 Samuel 3:3-10 God was calling Samuel, and Samuel responds, "Speak for your servant hears". They key point in these two events is, a heart willing to do what the Lord was calling for. This is the heart and mindset we should have with Christ, a heart and a mind willing to hear the call and go. 

We're not all called to go to the missions field, but as we talked about earlier this week, God does call us to spread the gospel. We're called to pray for one another, we called to sharpen one another, as iron sharpens iron. These things may seem small, but can have a great impact when looking at the larger picture.

Para terminar nuestra semana de oración misional, queremos presentarnos ante el Señor para ser parte de difundir el evangelio, ser un participante activo en misiones, ya sea por oración, donación o ir. Queremos hacer el compromiso, ante todo para el Señor, pero también para todos aquellos que sirven en los campos de misión, locales y en el extranjero.

En el Capítulo 6 del Libro de Isaías, nosotros un momento en el que Dios le pregunta quién enviará, y el Profeta Isaías responde y dice "Aquí estoy, envíame". Vemos en 1 Samuel 3: 3-10 Dios llamaba a Samuel, y Samuel responde: "Habla por su siervo oye". El punto clave en estos dos eventos es que un corazón dispuesto a hacer lo que el Señor estaba llamando. Este es el corazón y la mentalidad que deberíamos tener con Cristo, un corazón y una mente dispuesta a escuchar el llamado y irse.

No todos estamos llamados a ir al campo de las misiones, pero como hablamos a principios de esta semana, Dios nos llama a difundir el evangelio. Estamos llamados a rezar el uno por el otro, llamamos a agudizarnos, mientras el hierro afila el hierro. Estas cosas pueden parecer pequeñas, pero pueden tener un gran impacto al mirar la imagen más grande.
